Once your items are added, two screens do the day-to-day work: the dashboard, which gives the overview, and the item list, where you search and filter. Here’s how to read them.
The dashboard
This is the app’s home page. At the top, a greeting and your organisation’s name; just below, the essentials: three metrics, two usage bars, and your upcoming deadlines.
The three metrics
- Tracked items — the total number of records.
- Expiring within 30 days — active items whose warranty ends this month. These are your priorities.
- Expired warranties — items whose end date has already passed.
The usage bars
Two bars show where you stand against your plan: the number of items and users used out of what your plan allows. Handy for spotting, at a glance, when a plan change is coming.
Upcoming expirations
Below the metrics, a short list of the next five warranties due, sorted from soonest to latest — each with an “Expiring soon” (amber) or “Under warranty” (green) badge. It’s your to-do list of the moment.
The item list
When you’re after a specific item, or want to filter by category, status or deadline, head to the Items page. It shows all your records as cards, with a search box and filters.
Search and filter
Search sweeps the name, brand, model, serial number and category. Alongside it, several filters combine:
- by status (Active, Broken, Sold…);
- by deadline (Under warranty, Expiring soon, Expired, No date);
- by category and by site, when they’re in use;
- a sort (most recent, by deadline, by purchase date, by name).
Every card, at a glance
A card carries the item’s first photo (or an icon), its status badge, its name, a ×N badge if the quantity is above 1, and its category. Click to open the full record: warranty banner, photo gallery, purchase details, and your documents filed in two groups — Invoices on one side, Manuals & documents on the other.
Export
The Export (CSV) button downloads the current filtered view. Handy for an inventory, an insurer, or an accounting spreadsheet — the file opens cleanly in Excel.
In short
The dashboard answers “where do I stand overall?”, the list answers “where is that specific item?”. Together, they replace the tracking spreadsheet nobody keeps up to date — except this one updates itself. To go further, see how to share all of this with your team.
